Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Partners in Diet iOS application and website (together, the "Service"), operated by Partners in Diet. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Partners in Diet provides personalized nutrition targets, meal planning, gym workout programs, GPS run tracking, and an optional AI coach. Features may change over time as we improve the Service.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account, to keep your credentials secure, and to be responsible for all activity under your account.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features require a paid subscription purchased through Apple In-App Purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. New subscribers may receive a 7-day free trial; you will be charged when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store account settings. Prices are shown in the App Store before purchase and may vary by region. Payments and refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's terms.

4. Medical Disclaimer

Partners in Diet is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. All content — including calorie and macronutrient targets, meal plans, workout programs, and AI coach responses — is provided for general informational and educational purposes only.

Always consult a physician or qualified health professional before starting any diet, exercise program, or weight management plan, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant or nursing, or take medication. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read in the Service. If you experience pain, dizziness, or discomfort while exercising, stop immediately and seek medical attention.

5. AI Coach Disclaimer

Responses from the AI coach are generated by artificial intelligence and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your individual circumstances. The AI coach provides general wellness information only — it does not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatment, or replace professional advice. You are responsible for evaluating any AI-generated suggestion before acting on it.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by: attempting to access other users' data; reverse engineering, scraping, or disrupting the Service; using the Service for any unlawful purpose; or submitting content that is abusive, infringing, or harmful.

7. Your Content

You retain all rights to the data you log in the Service. You grant us a limited license to store and process that data solely to operate and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, recipes, training plans, and content, is owned by Partners in Diet and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for your own non-commercial purposes.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time in the app under Settings → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers and limitations of liability) survive.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Partners in Diet is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, health outcomes, or fitness results arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kosovo, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence remain unaffected.
